QUENCH™, a school-to-school safe water initiative that will enable kids in the U.S. to provide safe water for school kids throughout the world, will be the focus of a partnership between Elevate and Global Water Trust in 2005-2006.

For over 2.6 billion people the lack of access to safe water and sanitation is the leading cause of disease and death in the world. Half the world’s school children lack access to safe water on a daily basis. Instead of attending school, kids spend half their days searching for safe water sources.

Global Water Trust is creating a global community of schools by educating students in America about water issues in the U.S. and around the world. By writing songs and performing in bands, directing and producing short films, photographing and selling photos, selling Quench™ sponsored bottled water, throwing a Quench™ House Party, participating in an inspiring science-based curriculum, and proudly wearing their Power of Water™ bracelets and t-shirts, kids can help eradicate preventable waterborne diseases and provide safe water to school children globally.

Elevate will provide full service fundraising and organizational and strategic development to launch QUENCH™ programs nationwide.
